ABOUT

My name is Katrina, and drawing these little pictures means an awful lot(tle) to me.

I started Kicking Cones in 2012 to share joy, fun, and sometimes even an eye-roll at what’s going on in the world through cute illustrations. If you’re someone who cares deeply, laughs loudly at a good pun, and wants the world to be kinder, sillier, and significantly less boring, these illustrations were made for you. We believe that all animals are lovable (except some of the human ones), a more equitable society is possible, vulnerability is a strength, and creativity is for everyone.

Our Values

Joy on purpose

Small glimmers of positivity can interrupt a hard day in a good way.

Our Values

Love is the point

Tell your partners, friends, and family (chosen or otherwise) how you feel—it’s the most important thing about being human.

Our Values

Animals make life better

Cats, dogs, penguins, otters, bears, octopuses, and the people who love them are pretty cool.

Our Commitment To Giving Back

Putting our money where our mouth (or beak) is.

Kicking Cones believes in waddling the waddle, if you will. We give 1% of profits to Earthjustice and 1% of profits to the ACLU, supporting work for a healthier planet and the civil rights and liberties that help people live fully as themselves.

1% of all Kicking Cones profits goes to Earthjustice, a nonprofit environmental law organization that, in their own words, “wields the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change.”

You can learn more about Earthjustice and their work here.

1% of all Kicking Cones profits goes to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which works through courts and communities to defend immigrant rights, trans justice, reproductive freedom, voting rights, and more.

We know our little trinkets can’t fix everything. But, if these cute art pieces can make you smile AND aid real actions that make a difference through these contributions… that’s pretty sweet.
